HUGE HAUL OF MEDALS AT EUROPEAN CHAMPS FOR DOJO KARATE CENTRE SQUAD
We are incredibly proud and grateful for everyone who represented our DOJO in TEAM GB at the European Martial Arts Championships held in London last weekend.
39 members returned with an incredible 119 medals between them (39 Golds, 52 Silvers, 28 Bronze).
Not all competitors could make the official photo back at the club as their families have gone to their summer holiday directly from London afyer the event finished.
Everyone performed excellently with Brooke Rowan winning 6 Golds and 2 Silvers, followed by Anya R with 4 Golds, 2 Silvers, 1 Bronze, and Stevieann Partington winning 4 Golds, 1 Silver.
Sensei Ansari said "this is an outstanding achievement for our Dojo Karate Centre, Rochdale, Oldham and Middleton, and for Great Britain. From all clubs that had selection present at the Champs, Dojo Karate Centre won the most medals as a club. So we will be getting another trophy for this also. I'm particularly pleased to see our squad members excel to new boundaries and now work even harder to prepare for the WORLD CHAMPS in Dubai in OCT 2025. The work starts now guys! "
